Note how the bridge behaves when you cross it.

1. Cross the bridge with an irregular step.
2. Cross the bridge with a regular step – step at even intervals.
3. Cross the bridge with a regular step, but with a different step frequency.

WHY

For a certain step frequency, the vibration of the bridge is particularly high. This phenomenon occurs if you match the frequency of your steps to the natural frequency of the bridge. This is the resonance frequency.
