Discounts and concessions

Discounts and concessions apply at the Museum of Engineering and Technology and its branches.

In order to take advantage of a discount, concession, or free admission, a visitor, if asked by a Museum employee, must present a document confirming their entitlement to do so.


Discounts apply only to regular tickets.

  • Kraków Family Card: 50% discount
  • Kraków Family Card, with a Disabled Child: 50% discount
  • Kraków Card: 20% discount
  • Big Family Card: 20% discount

Discounts do not add up.

The following are entitled to a PLN 1 ticket:

  • Journalists
  • City guides

The following are entitled to a concession ticket to the Museum:

  • School pupils
  • University students (until the age of 26)
  • Doctoral students (until the age of 35)
  • Retirees
  • Disability pensioners
  • Holders of ISIC and EURO26 cards
  • Disabled persons and the person that accompanies them

The following are entitled to free admission:

  • Recipients of the Order of the White Eagle, the War Order of Virtuti Militari, the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, and the Distinguished Cultural Service Medal
  • Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS)
  • Holders of the Polish Person Card referred to in the Polish Law of 7 September 2007 on Polish Person Cards (Journal of Laws of 2017, items 1459 and 2282)
  • Employees of museums entered into the State Register of Museums
  • Minders of organized school groups (one minder per 10 persons)
  • Couriers accompanying an organized group
  • Children under the age of 3
  • Veterans and injured veterans
  • Activists of anti-communist opposition and persons repressed for political reasons, as defined in Articles 2 and 3 of the Polish Law of 20 March 2015 on the Activists of Anti-Communist Opposition and Persons Repressed for Political Reasons (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1386)

Documents that confirm the entitlement to a discount, concession, or free admission are:

  • School ID, student ID, doctoral student ID, ISIC and EURO26 cars
  • ID confirming disability or degree of disability
  • Age-confirming documents
  • ID confirming the awarding of an order or medal referred to above
  • ICOM or ICOMOS member ID
  • ID of an activist of anti-communist opposition or a person repressed for political reasons
  • Kraków Card
  • Kraków Family Card
  • Kraków Family Card, with a Disabled Child
  • Large Family Card
  • Polish Person Card
  • Official ID of an employee of a registered museum
  • Press ID (for journalists)
  • City guide ID
  • Other documents confirming the rights of the persons listed above
