HOW
1. Look at the pictures on both sides of the disk.
2.Turn the crank and observe the emerging image.
3.Try to achieve a uniform image.
WHY
The rotation of the disk causes the images to be presented alternately. The human eye has a certain inertia, which means that if the images change quickly enough, we see them as a single image. This happens because the light signal must be transmitted from the eye to the brain and analyzed there. The shortest time needed to analyze a given image is about 0.05 seconds. This phenomenon is the basis of cinematography. A film is made up of images that differ slightly and change at a speed of 24-30 frames per second.
