HOW

Spin the crank and observe the behaviour of the ball.

WHY

The ball moves thanks to the energy you feed into the mechanisms when you turn the crank.
The amount of energy transferred depends on:
• rotation speeds,
• the duration of that rotation,
• efficiency of the mechanism used.

As the ball is moved upwards, its potential energy increases. Where it falls or rolls under the force of gravity, the accumulated potential energy is converted into kinetic energy of the ball’s translational and rotational motion.
